The FUD Manifesto

While covering the cryptocurrency industry, I am often accused of spreading FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) and that is what originally led to the branding for this newsletter. I believed that more folks in the cryptocurrency industry should be experiencing fear, uncertainty, and doubt, especially with the many egregious facts I was finding.

So I christened my newsletter the 'Facts Under Dispute Letter', because I saw these things as the facts necessary to critically analyze these things, but others apparently saw them as something more malevolent, meant to target them with these negative emotions.

Today, I find myself again struggling with simple facts that should be leading many people to experience fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

Despite my feelings, the rapist racist fraudster received a strong mandate from the American public, which leaves me groping for FUD again.

  • Fear reminds me that people truly are in danger.
  • Uncertainty reminds me that there is only so much I can influence or control.
  • Doubt reminds me to question my own assumptions.

Practically, I intend to hone my research skills in the political arena, and I intend to dive deeper into relevant readings on the history of political movements, and I hope you join me.
